Lyson 1000mm Honey Sump

This Lyson unheated honey sump is used to collect honey from extractors and uncapping systems (uncapping tank drains or wax extruder honey). The unit has four chambers with removable perforated baffles to accumulate wax. There is an outlet connection for pumping honey to the final settling/straining/bottling step.

The baffles (5 included) can be arranged to remove as much wax as possible while maintaining honey flow to the sump outlet. As the wax accumulates, it can be skimmed off and returned to the uncapping tank or extruder hopper.

A removable lid with two knobs covers three (3) of the four (4) chambers.

The lid, sump and baffles are all food grade 304 stainless steel construction.

• One 1-1/2" male NPT by 50MM (2") hose barb included

When attaching 2" hose to the included hose barb, a 2" hose clamp is needed to secure the connection. Stainless steel hose clamps are available from many on-line retailers and local hardware or automotive supply stores.
