Lyson Polystyrene Hive Parts

Lyson polystyrene hive components are the newest line of equipment provided by Betterbee, and they are proving very popular!

The boxes feature built-in plastic frame rests and reinforced plastic edges. They also include metal latches to hold the hive components securely in place. Superior ventilation is provided both on the inner cover (7 ventilation holes with plugs to fine tune in the winter) and the outer cover. In addition, the bottom board on the hives is screened and includes a removable bottom board. Where necessary, screws for assembly are included.

And although this Lyson polystyrene equipment comes unpainted, we recommend painting hive components with an exterior grade latex paint.
