Deep Plastic Foundation Each

Acorn has introduced this plastic foundation especially for wooden frames -- equal quality to their high-quality one-piece frames. They are ideal for installing in new or old wooden frames, requiring less work than a crimp-wired style. Available in black or white. 

To install, put either the top or bottom edge of the foundation into its groove in the frame, then flex the foundation and pop the other edge into the other groove. Foundation comes coated with a thin layer of beeswax, but we recommend coating these with more beeswax when starting frames. Bees draw out wax-coated plastic foundation, all-wax foundation, or foundationless frames equally well, if they have a populous hive and plenty of nectar coming in (or sugar syrup)..

Hint: This foundation works best with grooved top bars.
