Med. Plastic Foundation 100PK

This plastic bee foundation is made especially for wooden frames and comes coated with a heavy layer of beeswax. They are ideal for installing in new or old wooden frames, requiring less work than crimp-wired wax foundation. Available in black or white. Made in the USA.

To install, put either the top or bottom edge of the foundation into its groove in the frame, then flex the foundation and pop the other edge into the other groove. Bees draw out wax-coated plastic foundation, all-wax foundation, or foundationless frames equally well, if they have a populous hive and plenty of nectar coming in (or sugar syrup). 

Hint: This foundation works best with grooved top bars.
