Crimped wires run vertically through the foundation for added strength and support. These foundations come without the traditional wire hook, allowing you to install them into grooved top bar frames quickly.
Use either a groove or wedge top deep frame with this no hook wax foundation.
Hint: For frames that will be run through an extractor, it is important to provide additional support, with support pins or additional wiring with bee wire and a spur embedder. For frames that will be in the brood chamber, less support is needed.
