Plastic Support Rods: 20 PK

These plastic support rods for crimp wire foundation offer a simple and quick alternative to wiring frames. We sell these in bundles of 20 rods (enough for 10 frames). We recommend using 2 rods per frame for all frame sizes.

These support rods are added after beeswax foundation is installed. The rods are pushed through the holes in the end bars and secured with a locking washer (included). The bees readily incorporate the rods into the comb. Installing these rods is much quicker than wiring frames. No embedding is required.
