Insulate your beehive in the winter with a 1" 8 frame foam board to keep your bees safe when it gets cold outside.

This 1" thick 8 frame foam board for beehive insulation is designed to fit in the underside of your 8 frame telescoping outer cover (13-1/2" x 20") and is what we at Betterbee use in our hives in the winter.This insulation prevents the warm, moist air that rises from the cluster from condensing on the cold outer cover, allowing the moisture to ventilate out of the hive from the ventilation notch in the inner cover.
