8 Frame Betterbee Shim

This Betterbee 8 frame unassembled beehive shim is predrilled and includes screws.

NOTE: This product comes unassembled. This shim fits 8 frame wooden hives. It is a handy device for top feeding pollen substitute or applying pesticide patties. Place them on the top of the frames of the hive body to create a 1-1/2" space. The entrance is sealable with a plug which can be removed for a winter entrance or for ventilation in the summer. When using the shim to apply varroa treatments that fumigate the hive, the hole should be plugged.
