Our sturdy assembled medium frames are made in the USA of Eastern White Pine. Choose between either wedged or grooved top bars.
When you are using beeswax foundation, select the wedged top bars. For frames that will be run through an extractor, it is important to provide additional support, with support pins or additional wiring with bee wire and a spur embedder. For frames that will be in the brood chamber, less support is needed.
When using plastic foundation, we recommend selecting grooved top bars.
Note: 5/8" Wedge Nails are not included with the wedge/grooved frames. Please order separately if needed.
