Deep Small Cell Found 8PK

This crimp-wired deep honeycomb foundation has small cells measures 4.9mm rather than our regular crimped wire foundation that measures 5.2mm. Some beekeepers believe smaller cells will lead to superior mite resistance. The studies are still being done to prove or disprove this but many beekeepers want to give it a try!

Hint: For frames that will be run through an extractor, it is important to provide additional support, with support pins or additional wiring with bee wire and a spur embedder. For frames that will be in the brood chamber, less support is needed.
