This deboxer wedge shim fits perfectly inside the bottom of a 10 frame hive body. Center the box with frames on the wedge. Use your hive tool to break the frame side bars free. Press (or hammer) the body down over the wedge. The frames raise above the box. They can then be easily removed for uncapping.
Assembly required
Hint: If you would like to make the wedge smaller, trim the end of the wooden bars (opposite the countersunk hole) to the desired length. Be careful to be consitent between bars to keep the wedge square
